Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 Earl Grey tea bag
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dried lavender flowers
- 1/2 cup half and half
Instructions
- Bring 1 1/2 cups of water to a boil. Place the Earl Grey tea bag in a mug and pour the boiling water over it. Allow it to steep for a few minutes.
- In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup of water and granulated sugar. Bring to a boil, then add the dried lavender flowers. Stir and let it steep until the sugar dissolves and the aroma is fragrant, around 4 minutes. Strain the lavender syrup into the mug with the steeped tea.
- In the same saucepan, warm the half and half over low heat, whisking until frothy and just warm. Pour the frothy half and half over the lavender-infused tea and serve immediately.
