Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dried lavender flowers
  • 1/2 cup half and half

Instructions

  1. Bring 1 1/2 cups of water to a boil. Place the Earl Grey tea bag in a mug and pour the boiling water over it. Allow it to steep for a few minutes.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup of water and granulated sugar. Bring to a boil, then add the dried lavender flowers. Stir and let it steep until the sugar dissolves and the aroma is fragrant, around 4 minutes. Strain the lavender syrup into the mug with the steeped tea.
  3. In the same saucepan, warm the half and half over low heat, whisking until frothy and just warm. Pour the frothy half and half over the lavender-infused tea and serve immediately.
