Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. golden rum
  • 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz. honey
  • Ice cubes
  • 4 oz. Champagne, prosecco, cava, or any dry sparkling wine
  • Angostura bitters
  • Mint leaf

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the golden rum, fresh lime juice, honey, and ice cubes.
  2. Shake the mixture well.
  3. Strain the mixture into a glass.
  4. Top with sparkling wine.
  5. Carefully shake 3 to 4 drops of bitters on the surface of the drink.
  6. Garnish by dragging a mint leaf through the bitters to create a design, then lay the mint leaf on top.
