Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Jamaica blossoms
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1-2 tbsp cardamom syrup
  • Cardamom syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp lightly crushed green cardamom pods

Instructions

  1. To make the syrup, boil the sugar, water, and cardamom pods. Simmer for 10 minutes, then let it steep for 30 minutes. Strain and refrigerate.
  2. In a large pitcher, steep the hibiscus flowers in hot water for 15 minutes. Strain and refrigerate until cold.
  3. Stir in 1-2 tablespoons of cardamom syrup into the hibiscus infusion, sweeten to taste.
