Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup Jamaica blossoms
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup cardamom syrup
  • Cardamom syrup:
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp. lightly crushed green cardamom pods

Instructions

  1. To make the syrup, boil the sugar, water, and cardamom pods, then simmer for 10 minutes. Let it steep for 30 minutes, strain, and refrigerate.
  2. For the hibiscus cooler, steep the hibiscus flowers in hot water for 15 minutes, strain, and refrigerate until cold.
  3. Stir in 1/4 cup of cardamom syrup and adjust to taste with additional syrup if needed.
