Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1 inch fresh ginger (grated)
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground clove
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 3 tablespoons Kahlua
  • 3 tablespoons homemade gingerbread syrup
  • 1/4 cup half and half

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water, vanilla, brown sugar, molasses, grated ginger, cinnamon, and clove. Boil over high heat for 3-5 minutes. Then set aside to cool.
  2. Rim 8oz cocktail glasses with cinnamon sugar.
  3. Fill the cocktail glasses halfway with ice.
  4. Stir in the vodka, Kahlua, and 3 tablespoons of the gingerbread syrup; mix well.
  5. Pour in the half and half and gently stir.
  6. Enjoy!
