Ingredients

  • 2 oz. clear spirit (gin, vodka, white rum, blanco tequila)
  • 2 oz. unsweetened green tea, chilled
  • 1.50 tbsp fresh lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
  • 1 tbsp Honey Water (recipe follows)
  • 4 fresh basil leaves, plus more for garnish
  • Ice
  • Club soda
  • Champagne

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the clear spirit, green tea, lemon juice, Honey Water, and basil leaves.
  2. Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds until cold.
  3. Double strain the mixture into a red wine glass filled halfway with ice.
  4. Top with club soda and Champagne.
  5. Stir gently and garnish with additional basil leaves.
