Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen cranberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/8 cup plain or lemon sparkling water
  • 3/8 cup sparkling apple must
  • 1 sage leaf
  • 1 rosemary branch
  • 1 oz gin (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, bring cranberries, blueberries, sugar, and water to a boil over high heat.
  2. Simmer the mixture for about 15 minutes until the fruits burst, then crush them with a potato masher.
  3. Strain the fruit syrup through a sieve and refrigerate it until completely chilled.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine the chilled fruit syrup with sparkling water and apple must.
  5. Add crumpled sage leaves to the pitcher and remove them after 5 minutes.
  6. Pour the punch into glasses filled with ice cubes and garnish with sage leaves, rosemary branches, and a few cranberries. For an alcoholic version, add 1 oz of gin per glass.
