Ingredients
- 2 1/2 oz frozen cranberries
- 1 oz frozen haskap berries or blueberries
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup plain or lemon sparkling water
- 1 cup sparkling apple must
- 1 sprig fresh sage
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- Gin (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a small pot over high heat, bring cranberries, haskap berries, sugar, and water to a boil.
- Simmer until the fruits burst, about 15 minutes, then crush the fruit with a potato masher.
- Strain the mixture through a sieve and refrigerate until completely chilled.
- In a large pitcher, combine the chilled fruit syrup with sparkling water and apple must.
- Crumple 3 sage leaves and add to the pitcher, removing them after 5 minutes.
- Pour the punch into glasses filled with ice cubes.
- Garnish with sage leaves, rosemary branches, and remaining cranberries. For an alcoholic version, add 1 oz of gin per glass.
