Ingredients

  • 4 limes
  • 24 oz water
  • 1/3 - 1/2 can condensed milk (carnation, or vegan coconut condensed milk)
  • 2 cups ice, plus extra for serving
  • 5g fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 red chili, seeds removed
  • Serve with a shot of rum

Instructions

  1. Rinse the limes, then cut into quarters, and place in a blender along with the water.
  2. Pulse the blender 5-8 times until the limes are broken up into rough chunks. Be careful not to over-blend to avoid bitterness.
  3. Strain off the lime and pith, and return the strained lime juice to the blender. Add 2 cups of ice, plus the fresh mint or chili, and condensed milk (start with 1/3 can, and add more if needed).
  4. Blend the mixture until light and fluffy, with the ice fully combined into the liquid.
  5. Taste and adjust the sweetness, or add more fresh mint or chili if desired.
  6. Pour into ice-filled glasses and enjoy. For a foamy texture, serve immediately.
