Ingredients
- 1/3 cup frozen strawberries
- 2 tbsp tequila
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp agave nectar
- Ice
- 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
- 2 tbsp tequila
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp agave nectar
- Ice
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp silver tequila
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp agave nectar
- Ice
- Optional: lime wedge and margarita salt or sugar for rimming the glass
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the frozen strawberries, tequila, lime juice, agave nectar, and ice. Blend until smooth, adding more ice if needed to achieve a thick slushy consistency.
- Transfer the strawberry mixture into a container and store it in the freezer while you prepare the next batch.
- If rimming the glasses with salt or sugar, wet the edges of the glasses with a lime wedge and dip them in salt or sugar to coat the rims.
- Spoon the strawberry margarita mixture into the bottom of the serving glasses until they are 1/3 full.
- Repeat the blending process with the frozen blueberries and tequila, then layer it on top of the strawberry mixture in the glasses.
- Finally, blend the coconut milk, tequila, lime juice, agave nectar, and ice, and layer it on top of the blueberry mixture in the glasses.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the patriotic layers of flavor!
