Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1/4 cup tequila
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 tbsp agave nectar
- extra ice, as needed
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup tequila
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 tbsp agave nectar
- extra ice, as needed
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup silver tequila
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 tbsp agave nectar
- extra ice, as needed
- Optional: a fresh lime wedge and margarita salt or sugar, to rim the glass
Instructions
- Combine the frozen strawberries, tequila, lime juice, and agave nectar in a blender and blend until smooth. Add extra ice if needed to reach a thick slushy consistency.
- Transfer the strawberry margarita mixture to a separate container and place it in the freezer.
- Rinse the blender, then repeat the blending process with the frozen blueberries, tequila, lime juice, agave nectar, and additional ice if needed.
- Place the blueberry margarita mixture in the freezer while you rinse the blender and blend the coconut milk, silver tequila, lime juice, agave nectar, and extra ice until smooth.
- Prepare the serving glasses by rimming them with salt or sugar, if desired.
- Spoon the strawberry margarita into the bottom of the glasses until they are 1/3 full, then add the blueberry margarita, and finally the coconut margarita.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the colorful layers of flavor!
