Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 oz. Ghia Nonalcoholic Aperitif
  • 1 1/8 oz. lemon juice
  • 1 1/8 oz. pomegranate juice
  • 3/4 oz. Cinnamon Syrup
  • 3 oz. nonalcoholic sparkling wine
  • Lemon and orange slices (for serving)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a medium pot, mix together 1/4 cup granulated sugar and 1/4 cup water over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add 1 cinnamon stick and bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes to infuse flavor.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
  4. Once cooled, strain through a fine-mesh strainer and discard the cinnamon stick. Store in a clean, resealable container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  5. In a large pitcher filled with ice, combine 3 oz. Ghia Nonalcoholic Aperitif, 1 1/8 oz. lemon juice, 1 1/8 oz. pomegranate juice, and 3/4 oz. Cinnamon Syrup. Stir well.
  6. Gently stir in 3 oz. nonalcoholic sparkling wine.
  7. Garnish generously with lemon and orange slices and serve in ice-filled wine glasses.
  8. If serving later, combine all ingredients except for ice, nonalcoholic sparkling wine, and lemon and orange slices, cover, and refrigerate up to 8 hours; add ice, nonalcoholic sparkling wine, and lemon and orange slices at the last minute.
