- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks until they become pale in color. Add the sugar and continue whisking until the mixture is light, fluffy, and smooth.
- In a medium saucepan, heat the milk and cream over medium heat until it begins to steam.
