Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup light cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick, for stirring

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream with a hand or stand mixer until it forms peaks.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and slowly add the bourbon and rum, stirring continuously.
  3. Combine the beaten heavy cream and the egg-liquor mixture in a large bowl, then slowly whisk in the light cream.
  4. Stir in the sugar and freshly grated nutmeg, then store the mixture in the refrigerator with the lid slightly ajar for the first night, and seal it after.
  5. Wait 2-3 weeks before serving, then grate fresh nutmeg on top of each glass before serving.
