Ingredients
- 1/4 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 oz Lunetta Prosecco
- 1/2 oz gin
- 3-4 fresh cranberries (for garnish)
- 1 sprig of rosemary (for garnish)
- Gold baking sugar (for the rim)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, water, and sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until a bright red cranberry syrup forms.
- Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool for about 5 minutes. Then, strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into an airtight container, discarding the solids. Refrigerate until needed.
- Wet the rim of a champagne flute with a lemon or lime wedge, then dip it in gold baking sugar.
- Add 1/2 oz of gin to the prepared flute, followed by 2-3 cranberries and 2 oz of the homemade cranberry simple syrup.
- Fill the remainder of the glass with 3 oz of Lunetta Prosecco.
- Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and serve.
