Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons cranberry sauce, divided
  • Juice of half a lime plus one lime round, for garnish
  • Half a tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 shot gin
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger, optional
  • 1 can lime sparkling water, divided
  • 1 tablespoon pomegranate arils, optional

Instructions

  1. In a shaker, combine 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce, lime juice, maple syrup, gin, and grated ginger with 1 cup of ice.
  2. Shake vigorously to blend the ingredients.
  3. Strain the mixture over ice in a rocks glass.
  4. Stir in an additional tablespoon of cranberry sauce and add the lime round for garnish.
  5. Top with sparkling water and optional pomegranate.
  6. Serve immediately.
