Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz coconut milk
  • 1 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.50 to 1 oz cream of coconut
  • 1.50 oz rum
  • 0.50 oz evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
  • cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, cream of coconut, rum, evaporated milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and freshly ground nutmeg.
  2. Blend the ingredients on low speed until well combined, for about 1 minute.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a glass or jar and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and develop.
  4. Before serving, shake the coquito well to ensure all the flavors are evenly distributed.
  5. Serve chilled and garnish the glass with a cinnamon stick.
