Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 1/3 oz cream of coconut, divided
  • 2 oz spiced rum
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz coconut milk
  • 2/3 oz triple sec
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Spread the coconut flakes on a small plate. Rim a cocktail glass with 1/4 teaspoon of cream of coconut, then dip into the coconut flakes. Set aside.
  2. In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine spiced rum, fresh lime juice, remaining cream of coconut, coconut milk, and triple sec. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add more ice to the prepared cocktail glass, then strain and pour the drink into the glass.
  4. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately.
