Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1.50 - 3 oz. bourbon, to taste
  • freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, combine whole milk, coconut milk, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat until steaming.
  2. Whisk the mixture until frothy.
  3. Warm a mug in the microwave.
  4. Add bourbon to the mug (start with 1.5 oz.) and let others adjust to taste.
  5. Pour the milk mixture over the bourbon in the mug.
  6. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
  7. Serve immediately.
