Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 can coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.50 - 3 oz. bourbon, to taste
  • freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine whole milk, coconut milk, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat until steaming, stirring occasionally.
  2. Whisk the mixture until frothy.
  3. Warm a mug in the microwave.
  4. Add bourbon to the mug (start with 1.5 oz.) and adjust to taste.
  5. Pour the milk mixture over the bourbon in the mug.
  6. Sprinkle freshly grated nutmeg on top as garnish.
