Ingredients
- 1.50 oz dark chocolate
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons hot chocolate mix
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, plus more for garnish
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, plus more for garnish
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 to 1.50 cups ice
- 1/2 cup heavy cream, cold
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Finely chop dark chocolate into uniform pieces.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
- Stir in sugar, hot chocolate mix, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and 1/2 cup of milk until fully incorporated.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into a blender, add the remaining milk and 1 to 1.5 cups of ice, then blend until well combined.
- For a thicker consistency, add more ice and blend again.
- Pour the mixture into a glass and top with whipped cream.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and cayenne pepper for garnish.
