Ingredients
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick (3 inches)
- 1 whole clove
- 1/8 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1.50 oz pisco, aguardiente, grappa or brandy
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- Strain the mixture into a pitcher, discarding the spices.
- Stir in the coffee, pisco, and vanilla.
- Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice.
