Ingredients

  • 3 oz Rioja wine
  • 0.50 oz triple sec
  • 0.38 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
  • 0.38 oz dark rum
  • 1/8 Granny Smith apple, chopped
  • 2-3 thin slices of navel orange
  • 1/4 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1 large basil sprig
  • 3 oz Cheerwine soda

Instructions

  1. In a pitcher, combine the Rioja wine, triple sec, Maraschino liqueur, dark rum, chopped apple, orange slices, cherries, and basil.
  2. Refrigerate the mixture overnight.
  3. Remove and discard the basil sprig.
  4. Gently stir in the Cheerwine.
  5. Serve in a glass over ice and garnish with fresh basil.
