Ingredients
- 3 oz Rioja wine
- 0.50 oz triple sec
- 0.38 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
- 0.38 oz dark rum
- 1/8 Granny Smith apple, chopped
- 2-3 thin slices of navel orange
- 1/4 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 1 large basil sprig
- 3 oz Cheerwine soda
Instructions
- In a pitcher, combine the Rioja wine, triple sec, Maraschino liqueur, dark rum, chopped apple, orange slices, cherries, and basil.
- Refrigerate the mixture overnight.
- Remove and discard the basil sprig.
- Gently stir in the Cheerwine.
- Serve in a glass over ice and garnish with fresh basil.
