Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons turbinado sugar
- 2 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Cognac or other brandy
- 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon freshly brewed coffee
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring water, sugar, and crushed cardamom pods to a simmer, stirring to dissolve the sugar; then remove from heat.
- Whip the cream to soft peaks.
