Ingredients
- 1 cup calamansi juice (or 3/4 cup lemon juice and 1/4 cup orange juice)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 ounces club soda
- 1 ounce gin
- Candied lime or lemon for garnish
Instructions
- To prepare the syrup, combine calamansi juice (or lemon juice and orange juice), sugar, and water in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the syrup from the heat and let it cool. Transfer it to a lidded jar and refrigerate until chilled, for about 30 minutes to 1 week.
- To prepare the cocktail, fill a low-ball glass with ice.
- Add 2 ounces of the calamansi syrup, club soda, and gin to the glass, and stir to combine.
