Ingredients

- 2 sugar cubes (or 1 tablespoon granulated sugar)
- 2 ounces cachaça
- 1 cup ice

- Cut the lime into quarters, reserving one quarter for garnish, then slice the other three sections into smaller pieces. Place them in a cocktail shaker.
- Add the sugar cubes and roughly muddle until the limes are crushed and the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour in the cachaça and add the ice.
- Cover the shaker and shake until chilled and the ice is broken down, about 20-30 shakes.
- Pour the entire contents of the shaker into a rocks glass and garnish with a lime wedge.
