A delightful Lavender Collins cocktail with vodka, lavender syrup, Page's Parfait Amour, and freshly squeezed lemon juice topped with soda water and a sprig of lavender.
Ingredients
- Lavender Syrup:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
- Cocktail:
- 1 1/2 ounces vodka
- 3/4 ounce lavender syrup
- 1/4 ounce Page's Parfait Amour
- 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Soda water
- Lavender flower, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- For the lavender syrup, combine sugar, water, and dried lavender in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture simmers.
- Let it simmer for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat and allow it to steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain out the lavender and chill the syrup before using. Store refrigerated in an airtight container.
- To make the cocktail, shake vodka, lavender syrup, Page's Parfait Amour, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Strain the mixture into an ice-filled collins glass.
- Top it off with soda water and garnish with a sprig of lavender, if desired.
