Ingredients
- 1 large tomato
- 1 small Roma tomato
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- A pinch of cayenne pepper
- A pinch of chipotle powder
- 3/4 tablespoon horseradish
- 1/4 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 ounce vodka
- Ice
Instructions
- Quarter the tomatoes.
- Use a juicer to extract the juice from the tomatoes.
- In a food processor or blender, combine the tomato juice, basil, sea salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and chipotle powder.
- Pour the mixture into a pitcher and stir in the horseradish and lemon juice.
- Rim the glass with freshly ground black pepper.
- Fill a glass with ice and add 1 oz. of vodka.
- Top off with the Bloody Mary mix and garnish with fresh basil.
