- 1/4 cup blackberries
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon vodka
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh or dry lavender flowers (petals only)
- 3 oz Vouvray wine (or Champagne)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine blackberries, maple syrup, and vodka. Bring to a gentle boil and cook for about 5 minutes, mashing the blackberries as they cook until they break down.
- Add the lavender flowers and continue to boil for 1 minute.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and strain it through a sieve to remove the seeds.
