Banana Rum Delight

Ingredients
- 0.70 oz Kahlua
- 3 oz banana syrup
- 1 oz dark rum
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
- 1 slice banana and whipped cream, for garnish
- BANANA SYRUP
- 1 cup water
- 1/4- 1/2 cup sugar (to taste)
- 2 very ripe bananas, mashed
Instructions
- To make the banana syrup, dissolve sugar in water and add mashed bananas. Heat until sugar is fully dissolved, then let it cool. Strain the liquid, discarding the solids. The leftover syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to a day.
- In a blender, combine Kahlua, banana syrup, dark rum, milk, and vanilla ice cream. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a milkshake glass and garnish with whipped cream and a slice of banana, if desired.
