Ingredients
- 2 sugar cubes
- 6 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- 1.50 oz rye whiskey
- 1 dash Pernod Absinthe
- 2 oz Crispin Original Cider
- Ice
- Lemon peel, optional
Instructions
- In a mixing glass, muddle sugar cubes with Peychaud's bitters until well combined.
- Add ice and rye whiskey to the mixing glass.
- Stir until the mixture is well chilled and the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour a dash of absinthe into a serving glass and swirl to coat the inside, then discard any excess.
